some nether features i’ve been thinking about

nether strongholds (nether bunkers?) that contain unfinished portal rooms to the overworld. maybe more like an apocalypse bunker because the nether is pretty apocalyptic? they can have wither skeletons spawn inside slightly more commonly than fortresses do

ruins!! i want ruins!!

pigmen ships made of nether brick and obsidian that sail across the lava oceans.

nether wart trees.

fix the fortress generation. it’s so bad.

nether temples!

glowstone spawns kind of like stalactites so there could probably be stalagmites?

more ores. more things you could craft with those ores. special swords with special enchantments specifically for those swords. i want a sword that – when it damages a mob, it heals me. that’d be so kickass.

since it was planned for pigmen to be villagers (and that got scrapped), maybe zombie pigmen could be a little more civilized or have a slightly more civilized variant? pigman huts with nether wart farms

since the nether’s one giant cave, cave paintings?
