I really really love how Kokichi and Kaito are such polar opposites.

Kaito acts on his emotions while Kokichi acts on logic.

Kaito trusts everyone from the bottom of his heart while Kokichi is paranoid and suspicious.

Kaito wears his heart on his sleeve and gathers people around him while Kokichi put on a mask of lies and intentionally drove everyone away.

Yet in the end they had the same goal to save everyone.

And they were both willing to die for it.
