imagine togami stopping by the naegi house over the holidays or w/e and he finds that the heat is out. togami offers to pay for it but naegi’s all omg no i cant ask that of you. so they sit in naegi’s room and naegi talks about junk and all togami can think about is how cold it is. 

so he’s like “ok thats enough” and he takes the blanket off of naegi’s bed and pulls naegi onto his lap and wraps the blanket around them. and for whatever reason, togami’s like rly warm. like a human space heater. and naegi just leans into him and togami tells him to keep talking about junk and naegi’s like oh yeah!! and they cuddle and hang out and yeah.

imagine naegi working as togami’s assistant and getting called into togami’s office. togami tells him about a v. important project he’s offering to naegi.

naegi’s all “yeah i totally want to do it! what is it?” because he’s all about that

and togami jsut hands him a folder and says “everything you need to know about it is in here. i’ll let you read it over in here”

and naegi opens it and there’s just a sticky note telling him to hold togami’s hand. naegi jsut stares at him because this man is going to be the head of one of the world’s most powerful companies and he does stupid things like this. what a dork

Okay, so, this was inspired by Togami’s numerous reiterations in his free time events of his firm belief that he and Naegi live in different worlds and may never truly understand each other. The first few ideas came to me last night before heading to bed, and I was thankful to have remembered them this morning. I’ve sort of worked all evening on this (suddenly its 4AM), and I seriously deeply apologize if this comes off as OOC in a way that doesn’t contribute to it at all. This is my first time writing for Dangan Ronpa (though I’m not much of a writer in the first place), so I hope this is okay ahaha…

To be honest this is sort of how I picture Naegi and Togami’s romantic relationship starting out. For me, personally, the development has to begin with a situation or such that involves Togami exposing himself and opening up a little. So that was the intention and goal of this narrative. Additional notes are included at the end.
