Who thinks ridiculously extravagant gifts are the best and who prefers the heartfelt, sentimental gift? hiyoko and mahiru respectively. hiyoko buys mahiru gourmet chocolates and caramels and books them a reservation at a fancy restaurant. mahiru makes hiyoko a stunning photobook of all these beautiful candids of her dancing or just at home chillin out or whatever

Who won’t stop saying “I love you” and making big, goopy puppy eyes? hiyoko. she’s very good at it.

What’s the most extreme thing either would do for a kiss (or Klondike bar)? “hey mahiru? if i go over there and pants souda can i have a kiss?” “i’ll give you a kiss to not do that.”

Who gets the obligatory cute stuffed animal? mahiru knows hiyoko loves stuffed animals in her own… weird way… 

Who would get a big bouquet of red roses? mahiru is always bringing hiyoko bouquets at her performances, so hiyoko turns around and gets mahiru roses for valentines day!

Who would eat an entire box of Valentine’s chocolate? hiyoko. no doubt about it

Who writes the really sappy, romantic poetry? mahiru but she NEVER TELLS ANYONE ABOUT IT.

Who actually likes those chalk-tasting hearts with cornball messages? hiyoko likes them, but only the rude ones that say like BLOW ME or NOT A CHANCE or DIE

Who sneaks home early to put up candles and scatter rose petals everywhere in the name of ROMANCE? MAHIRU AND IT’S DISGUSTING.

Who is the wine connoisseur that insists on “only the best” for their meal? hiyoko. she’s SUPER annoying about it and then doesn’t even drink it

Who believes that Valentine’s Day is a corporate, soulless Hallmark holiday but still secretly enjoys it anyway? hiyoko. “valentines is GAY its for losers” “saionji-san, you spent the better part of yesterday draping yourself over koizumi-san, kissing her, and telling her you love her” “YEAH?” 

Do they watch bad chick flicks or horror movies (any excuse for close cuddling)? oh horror movies are hiyoko’s FAVORITE! mahiru will watch anything as long as it’s not disgustingly het. she just notes the angles and cinematography while hiyoko lays on her and cuts off all circulation to one of her legs.

Do they make reservations at the expensive, ritzy restaurant or prepare a home-cooked meal? hiyoko got that reservation and they’re wearing fancy dresses and people keep recognizing her and she’s like 😉

Do they go to bed early or stay up all night? mahiru usually goes to bed early unless she’s working, but she’ll stay up for hiyoko!

Do they end up cuddling on the couch or heatedly making out? KISSIES
